Independence Day Parade - מצעד יום העצמאות

כבכל שנה מקיים הקיבוץ מצעד בערב יום העצמאות. כמעט כל הקיבוץ משתתף

במצעד - אז מי הצופים? כל הקיבוץ... כל מי שמסיים את חלקו מצטרף לקהל

המוחא כפיים בהלהבות. בתמונה הטרקטור של הדקלאים עם המרפסת המשוכללת

Every year we have an Independence-Day parade. Since most

of the Kibbutz members take part in the parade - every one who

comletes his performance joins the audience... In the picture -the

Date-Growers tractor, with our home-made special stage that

lifts you up to the hights of the trees to pick the dates. This stage

serves in the parade the flags-holders.

First signs of Summer - סימנים ראשונים לקיץ

אנו עדיין באפריל, המזגנים עדיין לא נכנסו לעבודה רצופה, אם בכלל, הצאלונים

ימתינו בוודאי עוד חודש או שניים לפני שיפרצו בפריחתם האדומה - אבל ראשוני

הקקטוסים מראים סימנים של הכרה בעובדה שכבר חם מספיק, ואפשר לפרוח. אלה

It's still April. The heat is still bearable. There's still time before

the Poinciana trees will decorate our garden with their red

blooming, and the Queen of the Night cactus will open their big

flowers - at nught, of course. But some cactus plants have decided

its warm enough to bloom - and in the Day. Picture by Mani Gal
