Just a little after the first birthday baby Neta decides to make

a visit to Grandpa & Grandma in Ein-Gedi. Grandma thinks that

now is the time to get to know Nachal Arugot. It is Rosh Hashana

in the early morning, before the crowds make this scene over-packed.

בסכנה בגלל הימצאות הגשר באזור בו נפערו כבר בולענים לא מעטים

that is used to detect possible underground sinkholes that are

about to collapse. The area where a bridge is being built above

Nachal Arugot is very close to sinkhole fields, so there is a danger

of damage to this new bridge. If a sinkhloe is developing under the

ground surface - the weight will crush the thin layer and the sinkhole

will be exposed.

A new Hebrew year, and the dates picking is in peak now. This
