month, the hotel offers a  moonlight hike

in the Chavar landscape under Massada.

שני עצי פיקוס בנגלי עומדים במרכז המדשאה הצפונית

של המלון בעין-גדי. הם כבני 32, אך הספיקו לפתח כבר

עשרות גזעי משנה, והם שמחה לעיניים. בצל הפיקוסים

Two Ficus bengalensis trees stand on the northern

lawn of Ein-Gedi hotel. They are about 32 years 

old, but have grown already dozens of secondary

trunks. The hotel hosts groups' events under these

trees. Zalman, as kibbutz member, who offerss

catering services, set a fruit stand under the Ficus.

האחרונות לגן אקולוגי, שבנוסף לבעלי החיים שבו

הוא מציג ומדגים חשיבה ופעילות סביבתית, כמו בנייה

בבוץ, טיהור ביולוגי של מי שפכים, בישול סולארי

The Eco-park in the kibbutz is a small zoo

which serves also as model of environmental

thinking and action, like solar cooking, adobe

building and sewage water biological clearing.

Hotel guests have free entrance.
