חניכי המחזור הראשון של המכינה הקדם-צבאית 'מלח הארץ' סוגרים חודש רביעי

מתוך שישה בצילום קבוצתי משעשע לכבוד החנוכה. זה אינו חלק מאימוני הכושר

לקראת הגיוס לצבא... החניכים הגישו בקשה להאריך את משך המכינה לעשרה חודשים

ואם הצבא יאשר זאת - כנראה שיישארו עד תחילת הקיץ

20 young men, on an educational program between Highschool and

the army service, cekebrate Hanukka in a happy group picture, dressed

as Maccabi's. The program seems to be very successful, and the boys

have asked to stay 4 more months on the program. f the army will say

'yes' - we will enjoy their stay until the beginning of Summer.

Morning Mandala Making - מנדלה של בוקר

סדנת סופשבוע בבית התמר. בונים טבון בבוץ, קולעים סלים, ובבוקר - יוצרים

מנדלה על הקרקע, עשויה מחומרי טבע - חצץ, חלוקי אבן וחול בצבעים שונים. את

הסדנה מנחות מיכלי וריקי, ממייסדות האתר, המגיעות לעין-גדי ממרחק, כדי לפגוש

באווירה המקומית המיוחדת את המעוניינים בחוויה המשותפת. המנדלה לא אמורה

לשרוד יותר ממספר שבועות, והיא תלך ותתפורר בדרך הטבע... צילום: יעלי גל

A weekend workshop at BEIT HATAMAR, a center for ancient

and natural arts and crafts. Michali and Riki, the founders of this

site, come to Ein-Gedi from far away to meet their fans, and to

build with mud, experience basketry and in the morning - craete

together a mandala, made on the ground with natural materials

like coloured sand, pebbles and gravel. The mandala is not supposed

to last forever - it will disintegrate during the coming weeks.

Spiky trunk - Chorisia - קוצי הכוריזיה

גזעה המרשים של כוריזיה בגן בית ההארחה בקיבוץ. הכוריזיה, דרום אמריקנית

במוצאה, בת משפחה של הבאובב האפריקני. היא פורחת בצבעי ורוד או צהוב

The Chorisia belongs to same family of the Baobab. Its origin is

South America. It blooms in two colours - pink and light-yellow.

In its early years, the tree protects its trunk with very impressive

Crocus in bloom - פריחת החלמוניות

Sabbat int he nature - שבת בטבע

חוג המטיילים האזורי בהדרכת אלי רז מחדש פעילותו לעונת 2009-10 בטיול

מהנה בנופי נחל אבוב ונחל להט. כעשרים וחמישה מטיילים מיישובי האזור, ואיתם

אורחים, ידידים ונאמני החוג מהשנים הקודמות, יוצאים אל הטבע שבת אחת בכל

The regional hiking club, guided by Eli Raz, has started another

season of nature-hikes in the landscapes of the Judean desert.

The club is opened for all ages, but most of the devoted participants

can boast each of a few grandchildren. In the picture - Zeevik Meller

ביום ה-24 באוקטובר יקיימו ידידי כדור הארץ ארועים בכל רחבי העולם כדי

לציין את חשיבות השמירה על העולם בכלל, ועל האוויר שלו בפרט. המטרה

היא להדגיש את חשיבות הורדת ריכוז דו תחמוצת הפחמן באוויר, ומספר היעד

הוא 350. תלמידי בית הספר התיכון מקדימים את היום ומתכנסים על מגרש

הכדורגל המיובש, ויוצרים עבור התמונה את הספרות 350. בשבת תתקיים

התכנסות על חוף ים המלח, ובה ינסו להגביר את המודעות לבעיית ים המלח

October 24th is going to be the day when lots of people

around the world will gather to raise the awareness of

all of us to the enviromental problems of our planet. Ein-Gedi

highschool students gather 2 days before this day on the dried

football field of the Kibbutz, and create the number 350, which

is the target number for decreasing the amount of CO2 in the

planet's atmosphere. On Shabbat another gathering will be

arranged, on the Dead Sea shore, to raise the awareness of all

of us the the problem of the Dead Sea, that looses so much water
