 בבית הכנסת העתיק בעין-גדי ניצב מודל, המנסה

 לתאר על פי ההשערות את צורת הכפר העתיק

 ואת בית הכנסת שבמרכזו. המודל ממחיש יפה

 את צפיפות בתי הכפר, את דרכי המסחר אליו וממנו

 ואת הניחוש, שלבית הכנסת היתה קומה שניה. האם

היתה זו עזרת נשים? אין לנו מושג

At the Ein-Gedi synagogue you can see

o model, that tries to describe how did 

the village look like in those days, and 

the synagogue in the middle of it. Did 

the synagogue have two floores? did the

2nd floor serve the women of the village?

סוף סוף קצת חורף. שיטפון קטן בנחל ערוגות

והכבישים מעין גדי דרומה נחסמים למספר שעות

Finally - rain! A small flash flood in

Nachal Arugot. The road from Ein-Gedi

to masada is blocked for a few hours.
