Rain in the garden - גשם בגן

יום נדיר לצילומים בגן - יום גשם. הצמחים נוטפי מים ונקיים 

וממש מבקשים להצטלם. לפניכם סדרה של תמונות

A rainy day in Ein-Gedi is not common, and not

always I am available to take pictures of the fresh

clean and dripping plants of the garden. So here is

a set of pictures.

Nahal Rahaf - נחל רחף

Nahal Rahaf, south of Massada, has quite a short and impressing

canyon. This picture was taken from the exit of this canyon towards

the Dead Sea shore, on a hiking day of the junior high school.

Massada from Mt. El'azar - מבט למצדה מהר אלעזר

כך ראו הרומאים את ראש מצדה מהנקודה היחידה שהיתה

מעט יותר גבוהה מהמצדה. המחנה השמיני שכן על הר אלעזר

הנמצא מדרום למצדה. שרידיו נמצאים עדיין על פסגת ההר

לחצו על התמונה להגדלתה

An unusual observation point on the top of Massada

from the summit of Mt. El'azar, south of Massada.

The Romans circled the fortress by eight camps and

a wall that connected these camps to each other, and

the eighth camp can still be seen on Mt. El'azar. This 

was the one spot from which the Romans could see 

what's  going on in Massada.
