An Unexpected Surprise הפתעה בפינת הגן

סטפליה - עוד צמח ממשפחת האסקלפיים, קרוב-משפחה של

תפוח-סדום, הנראה כמו קקטוס, ובזאת מזכיר את האצבוע שכבר

פורח בגן מזה כמה שנים, הפתיע בפריחה נהדרת של פרח אחד למשך

מספר ימים. הפרח ענק בגודלו, וצבעו יוצא דופן בהחלט. המין הזה של

סטפליה שתול באחת מהערוגות הרחוקות מהמסלול המוכר של הגן

Stapelia, a relative of the Sodom Apple, is not a cactus, though

it looks like a catus. It is planted in a remote corner in the Kibbutz,

not close to the regular walking route of the Botanical Garden. It

surprised us with the first blooming - the flower is huge, and its

color is very special.
