Instant Garden to a New Neighbourhood - שכונת המון מתחדשת

לפני מספר חודשים פונתה שכונת המוּן שהיתה מקום מגוריהם של המתנדבים, ואחרי כן

של העובדים הזרים. הקוביות הטרומיות הורמו במנוף והועתקו אל מעבר לכביש, שם

הן מחכות לגואלן שיציב אותן במקום קבע חדש. באתר המפונה הוכנו בזריזות תשתיות

למגורי החוקרים הראשונים שיאיישו את מכון המחקר של ים המלח, העומד לקום

כמפעל בו שותפה מחלקת המו"פ של המועצה האזורית. החודש הגיעו 2 משפחות ונכנסו

לשתיים מ-4 הדירות החדשות שהובאו למקום. צוות הנוי המסור השקיע ימים של עבודה

קשה בהכנת תשתיות להשקייה, טראסות ושבילים, ולבסוף - שתילה ונטיעה. המקום לבש

The "Moon" neighbourhood was the dwelling place of the Kibbutz

volunteers years ago. Then it was occupied by the foreign hired

workers. During the summer the place was cleared of all the old

houses, that were moved to another site, where probably they will

be connected to water, electricity etc, and will serve their traditional

uses for many more years. New houses were brought to the "Moon",

and today the site has 4 big new houses for the families of scientists

who are going to establish the new Dead-Sea reserch center. 2 families

are alredy here. Our gardeners worked very hard to create the
